Flying Driving & Ferry Example Itinerary
Travelling to Circuito de Navarra from the UK is much easier than you might think. And there’s a range of different routes available, depending on your requirements.
With so many interesting places to explore in northern Spain, from San Sebastian with its stunning architecture, beautiful beaches and world-renowned culinary scene through to the famous Rioja wine region located close to the race circuit, you can extend your visit and explore all the best the region has to offer.
The circuit is located close to several airports, including some served internationally from the UK, with a two-hour flight time from London.
Bilbao
Bilbao Airport is the closest international airport to Circuito de Navarra, with frequent flights available from London Gatwick and Manchester Airport.
Zaragoza
Slightly further away from the circuit than Bilbao, Zaragoza Airport is another viable option with a reasonable drive time to Circuito de Navarra. Regular flights are scheduled from London Stansted.
Madrid
As an alternate option, you can fly from London Gatwick to Madrid Airport, Then get an onward flight to Pamplona Airport
Pamplona
A 45-minute drive from the circuit, Pamplona Airport is served daily by domestic flights from Madrid, with some commercial flights also welcomed from outside Spain.
Biarritz (France)
Located a short drive away in France, Biarritz Pays Basque Airport welcomes frequent flights from London Stansted, with services from London Gatwick also available during the summer.
Located directly next to the Autovía A-12 highway, Circuito de Navarra is easily accessible by road at junction 58.
Bilbao
Bilbao is home to the closest ferry port, with departures from Portsmouth twice weekly. The average drive time to the venue from here is less than two hours.
Santander
An alternative ferry port within a reasonable drive time of Circuito de Navarra is Santander, which is also served by boats from Portsmouth. This is approximately three hours from the circuit.
St. Malo
The port of St. Malo in France is served regularly by cross Channel ferries and is around nine hours away from Circuito de Navarra by road.
Calais
If driving from the UK directly via the Dover-Calais ferry route, a typical journey will take around 14 hours by road.
