Circuito de Navarra will host the Bennetts British Superbike Championship’s first ever Spanish round in 2024 following the publishing of the official series calendar this morning (Thursday 12 October).
The circuit in northern Spain will host the 11-round season’s first event with Bennetts BSB making it first visit to continental Europe since 2019 on 20/21 April.
The circuit, set in stunning countryside near the famous Rioja wine region, held a round of the World Superbike Championship as recently as 2021. Regarded as one of the country’s best racetracks, Circuito de Navarra will add new challenges to the Bennetts BSB schedule including the 160mph Turn One which will be the fastest on the calendar.
This is a significant addition to the circuit’s major event calendar, coming less than a year after MotorSport Vison (MSV) took over the running and operation of the venue in November 2022. The first major venue works took place recently and more improvements are scheduled over the winter.
Bennetts BSB will also host its second Official Test at Circuito de Navarra, following an initial visit ahead of the 2023 season when Kyle Ryde topped the times for LAMI OMG Racing Yamaha.
