Circuito de Navarra to host penultimate ESBK Superbike round this weekend

21 October 2024

The ESBK Spanish Superbike Championship heads to Circuito de Navarra for what will be the first motorcycle racing event on the completed all-new layout this weekend (25-27 October).

The event will feature a full programme of events under the Real Federacion Motociclista Espanola (RFME) banner, including the premier Superbike class. The headline Superbikes will race once on Saturday and once on Sunday as part of a double-header.

Unai Orradre Abad leads the points standings in the headline class ahead of the action at the circuit in northern Spain, with Borja Gomez Rus and Ivo Lopes second and third in the standings. With just one more event to go following the action at Circuito de Navarra every point will be crucial this weekend.

This event will be about more than just the main ESBK class however, with a range of additional classes forming part of the programme. Indeed, around 130 different riders from as many as 29 countries are expected to compete across the weekend.

Other classes in action this weekend will include Supersport Next Generation, SS300, PreMoto3, Moto4, BeOn Junior Cup, Superstock 1000 and Superstock 600.
