Circuito de Navarra will host a superb calendar of motorsport in 2025 with action from cars and motorcycles across a wide range of events between now and November. This includes visits from major national championships, new fixtures and visits from overseas series.
Top class motorcycle action
Circuito de Navarra will host not one, but two, rounds of the ESBK Spanish Superbike Championship for the first time this season. The first of these events will take place on 19/20 July with another following on 30/31 August. Both events will feature a full programme of motorcycle action organized by the RFME.
The venue will also welcome the Bennetts British Superbike Championship once more, for the first of its pre-season R&G Official Test events on 6 April. The leading stars of Britain’s leading motorcycle category will return to take on a layout has evolved significantly since their last visit in 2024 as the final preparations for this year’s battles get underway.
Further motorcycle action this year will include the French-based Weekend Racing Cup on 14/15 June and the Copa de España de Velocidad on 15/16 November, the circuit’s final meeting of the season.
Highlight car weekends
This next four-wheeled action of the year at Circuito de Navarra comes from Ferrari Challenge UK, which heads to Spain for the first time with a field of 488 Challenge Evo race cars on 26/27 April. Two races from the headline category are planned for a weekend solely devoted to cars from the famous Italian manufacturer.
Another major car event will be the NAPA Racing Weekend, which returns to the venue with a line-up which includes high profile single-seater action from the E4 Spanish Championship, on 3/4 May. The full programme also includes action from GT-CET, in which a field of GT cars contest two mini-endurance races, plus Toyota GR Cup for GR86 sports cars.
It’s not just major race events to look forward to either, the Eurocrew and Friends performance car show set to take place on 10/11 May. This will include off-track car displays in addition to circuit sessions, professional drifting and much more entertainment.
Additional events scheduled for this season include the Campeonato Race de Velocidad with Citroen Saxo and VW Golf GTi on Saturday 7 June plus the Trofeo de Velocidad welcoming the Copa Racer event and the Porsche Sprint Challenge Iberica on 13/14 September.
Historic motorsport icons
An exciting new event will be the first ever Motor Racing Legends Navarra Historic weekend on 11/12 October. The full weekend line-up will include machinery from the pre-War period, right through the ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s on a weekend dedicated entirely to motor racing’s fascinating history.
